hrtsnewsmakersThe Hitmakers Cable Reality, part of the Newsmaker Luncheon Series, was presented by The Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS) on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 11: am to 2pm at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

First, all the celebrities lined up in front of the step and repeat banner. They were able to get interviewed and photographed by various media/press outlets. Later, they networked with each other. The industry panelists were Thom Beers (Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers), Mark Cronin (The Surreal Life, Rock of Love), Jason Goldberg (Punk’d), Randy Jackson (Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew and judge from American Idol), Graig Piligian (Ghost Hunters, The Ultimate Fighter) and Sally Ann Salsano (Jersey Shore, Tool Academy). The event was moderated by Chris Harrison, TV host of The Bachelor & The Bachelorette.

The panelists discussed the differences in working for the networks versus the Cable industry. They stated that when you work for cable, you are able to be more creative versus at the networks where you do not have the freedom that cable provides to them as producers. By working for the networks you need to follow their rules and guidelines. A couple of hundred people who are members of HRTS attended the luncheon and panelist event . allisonOn Friday, March 5, 2010 The 17th Annual Multicultural Motion Picture Association Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Luncheon was held at The Montage Beverly Hills Hotel from 10 am to 2pm.

The MMPA presented students with financial awards for their film projects. The event was hosted by Chris Schauble, KNBC-4 Los Angeles News Anchor.

The students were expected to meet this year 82nd Academy Award Nominees: Lee Daniels, and the cast of “Precious” Gabourey Sidibe, Monique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey, Anika Noni Rose (The Frog Princess), Aaron Quinn, (The Blind Side) Tom Ford and David Scaerce (A Single Man) Kimberley Myers and Shelly Jo Reesman. The place was full of lots of people who wanted to meet, celebrate and network with industry shakers and makers. It was hard to walk inside the venue, and the line for the red carpet was very long, but celebrities did not care about it because they wanted to be photographed and interviewed.

Pepper MaShay performs live at the Pre Grammy Party at Life on Wilshire

davidOver 800 people attended the Pre Grammy Party held at Life on Wilshire in Beverly Hills, CA.

“The event was awesome and bigger turnout then we thought
” said Cher Rue, actress.

They had a red carpet and step and repeat at the pre Grammy party, which played a tribute to the “King of Rock n’ Roll” Elvis Presley. Also the event was dedicated to artists lost last year, including the King of Pop Michael Jackson. The venue was pack with actors, models, actress, singers and publicists. There were also lots of media taking videos and photos of everyone. The highlight of the night was Pepper MaShay who performed 3 songs.

SAG Awards Post Celebration Charity event benefiting The Red Cross for Haiti

jaimeOn a very chilly day, celebrities and personalities with their publicists lined up on the red carpet at the Falcon Restaurant & Lounge. The red carpet event was long and lasted for 2 hours. Media and photographers were busy shooting and interviewing major celebrities.

They all came for one reason: to support and bring awareness to help the Haiti Earthquake victims. After each one had the opportunity to get interviewed and photographed, they went inside the Falcon Restaurant and Lounge where it was full. About 400 people attended the event.


“This event was a really fun event. There were so many celebrities in attendance, and a lot of great contacts were made. We danced, took photos, and yes even walked the Carpet. Devon Guzzie and Eric Zuley AKA EZ really do know how to make an event successful. Hopefully the proceeds that were raised from this event will help the Red Cross do what they need to do for those in need.” said Tamara Wentworth, Owner of Wentworth Public Relations.

Per Gift Public Relations representatives, at first the event was titled Sag Awards Celebration Post Party in support of Britticares International. Due to the earthquake they changed it to Event To Benefit The Victims of The Haiti Earthquake. Later the event title was again changed to SAG Awards Post Celebration Charity event benefiting The Red Cross. Event organizers confirmed that they raised $100,000 for the Red Cross to benefit Haiti earthquake victims. Britticares founders were part of the event to support The Red Cross.

Local Celebrity Los Angeles 1-17 singing competition bringing talent to you.

localclaThe rain and the Golden Globe Awards could not stop the performers, fashion designers, models, movie and music directors, fans, media, photographers and friends of Local Celebrity Los Angeles from attending the first most promoted event of the year.

At Local Celebrity Los Angeles people saw and were able to hear Los Angeles got talent.
Another part of this event was the fashion the was worn by celebrities including the host Ryan Ray, who was wearing some pieces of LASC.

“This was a fabulous evening and I enjoyed the many talented performers who demonstrated depth and artistry in their singing abilities.” said Dr. John Carvalho, Cal State University Senator Member, Political Action Committee West Hollywood, Human Rights Campaign.

The contestants who were eliminated were Diana Vega and Tara Thomas. The event was opened by Denicar Bergancia who won first prize in this contest last November 15, 2009 and was awarded $200.00.
 “I was really pleased by the quality of the competitors. I also felt MC Ryan Ray and the judges kept the evening exciting and energized. This will be a great weekly event in West Hollywood on Sundays.” Concluded Dr. Carvalho.

There was a red carpet for photo opportunities, and interviews from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The show started around 9:45 pm and ended close to 12:00 am.
