Cher Rue, Jaira Valenti, and Tamara Wentworth hosted Jeremiah Vaughn’s 36th birthday bash and save a life charity event. The evening started off with an amazing red carpet. Many wonderful celebrities were in attendance. All were trying to get a chance at a photo with Jeremiah. Celebrities like Derek Pratt, Ashlee Keating, Iliana Fischer, CC Perkinson, Johnny V. Amanda Rushing, Dee Dee Bigelow, Suzanne Revell, and Al Burke to name a few.
Life is a very classy and elegant environment to hold a party. Everywhere you looked you could find a cluster of people mingling and making connections, while listening to some great performers. The performers of the night were pretty spectacular people. Kathy Buckley opened up the evening with a humorous stand up bit. She was very funny yelling all the people that were talking over her comedy routine. She is known most for being the very first female hearing-impaired comedienne. She just finished at Cesar’s Palace and was kind enough to support Jeremiah’s cause. Along with Kathy, came Geri Jewell. You may remember her from Deadwood and back in the day as Blair’s cousin on Facts of Life. Next a wonderful new musical artist name Lyric performed one of his new songs, “Addicted to you.” Next up, was ex playboy model and now recording artist Iliana Fischer. She performed two beautiful songs off of her newly released cd “Caliente.” After Iliana, was the awesome band “No Boundaries.” This band is unique in the fact that the members are all handicapped in some fashion. They have performed as far as China, and most of the time can be found at an Easter Seals, or Special Olympics event. MOI was the highlight of the evening. The lead singer and guitarist Moi Navarro has a voice and is not afraid to show it. He mesmerized us with his new single “Superman.”
The sponsors came out to help support the cause as well. “The Cougar and the Kitten”, CC Perkinson and Jennifer Tapiero, were on the scene looking stunningly. The owners of Plaisir, Daniel Salva and Philippe Dray, came out to see how everyone was enjoying their tasty treats. Their delectable shop can be found at 8613 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood, Ca 90069. www.Plaisir-La.com

With the tasty treats, great drinks, wonderful music, and of course a good cause, who can think of a better way to spend an evening than with friends at LIFE on Wilshire located at 6311 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles CA. 90048. For more information visit http://www.lifeonwilshire.com. The event was held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 7:30 pm to 2:00 am.
