The 2016 Diversity Pageants New Queens Re-Crowning and 2017 Diversity Pageants USA Open Casting Call & Fashion Show Kick-Off event to be hosted by Actress/writer and performer Thushari Jayasekera.

The event will feature Red Carpet Arrivals, Live Performances by Lovable and Legendary Singer/Performer Linda England and Singer-Songwriter/Actor/Recording Artist Songwriting Shane.

           The Fashion Shows will be featuring: Celebrity Fashion Designer Ammar Rhaima from Ammar’s Tailoring and Celebrity Make Up and Sylist, Fashion/Graphic Designer Gabriel Escamilla Fashions and Masks Designs. On Friday, March 18, 2011 The Gallery Los Angeles presented the L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, CA. Mikey Koffman, founder of The Gallery Los Angeles openned the night by welcoming every one to the event.

Actor Erik Estrada, with his wife Nanette Mirkovich & daughter Francesca were some of the celebrities the attended the red carpet and fashion show. Singer K’Sandra performed and then followed by featured designs from Denim of Virtue, Laguna Beach Jeans Co., Dotrine Jeans, Adiktion and XCVI.


The event started from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at The Sunset Gower Studios located at 1438 North Gower Street, Hollywood, California 90028. This year L.A. Fashion Weekend was only two days showcasing Fall and Winter 2011 designs.

Civic Leaders Honored at the 18th Annual MMPA Oscar Week Luncheon & Awards

On Thursday, February 24, 2011 The Multicultural Motion Picture Association (MMPA) presented their 18th Annual Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show.
Things Remembered
The event was held at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, CA from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and it was hosted by radio and tv personality Sam Phillips. The event featured a red carpet, entertainment by Izzy Chait and Band, lunch, awards presented to Civic Leaders, and a fashion show coordinated by Parris Harris.


MMPA President Jarvee Hutcherson and Mistress of Ceremony Sam Phillips presented and handed over The 18th Annual MMPA 2011 Civic Awards to Kate Linder ( Actress, Philanthropist), Edward Lozzi ( Publicist, Edward Lozzi & Associates), Renee’ Valente (Producer, Valente Productions), Michelle Phillips (Actress, Singer) and A.C. Lyles (Paramount Pictures). Each civic honoree gave a speech after receiving their award, but the one who received an outstanding ovation was A.C. Lyles, producer from Paramount Pictures.
