Ty London from Tri London Bartenders named Team Leader of Diversity News #3960 for AIDS Walk LA 2011

On Thursday, July 28, 2011 Diversity News Publications, publisher of Diversity News Magazine, announced that Ty London, owner fromTri London Bartenders has joined Diversity News #3960 and has been officially named and welcomed as the new team leader of Diversity News #3960 for AIDS Walk LA 2011.
“I’m very excited and happy to focus and work hard for this year AIDS WALK L.A. 2011. As you already may know, I have been involved with Diversity News #3960 since 2003. I feel that I have a personal obligation to continue participating year after year in a cause that is one of my favorites because of their mission, goals and purpose” said Esteban “Steven” Escobar, CEO, President & Owner of Diversity News Publications, Executive Editor-In-Chief of Diversity News Magazine and now Team Co-Captain for Diversity News #3960.
He continued, “It is my pleasure and an honor to welcome and have Mr. London on board as the new team leader of Diversity News #3960 for AIDS WALK LOS ANGELES 2011. He has been working tirelessly in putting together our upcoming fundraising events and team activities for this year. His dedication and passion in volunteering for our team is really appreciated and we hope this will be a memorable opportunity for him.”

Mr. London also encouraged people to come to their first 2011 AIDS Walk LA Red Carpet & Art Exhibition Fundraiser Event for August 2011 at the Gus Harper Studios. He shared that Gus Harper’s art has been featured on the amazing Modern Family TV comedy show.
Diversity News Publications is always looking for ways to give back to the community. A wonderful way to do this is by participating with AIDS WALK Los Angeles, benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles and other community organizations.
Mr. Escobar concluded “Mr. London will be not alone because the AIDS WALK L.A. Staff and I will be there to provide guidance, support and the necessary tools to make his participation an unforgettable experience.”
Also notables joining the team are philanthropist and business entrepreneur Maria Amor, philanthropist and Diversity News #3960 team creator and founder Steven Escobar, actor and model John Roberts, and celebrity makeup and hair stylist Wanda Patterson who are making sure all the activities for this year’s fundraiser go as planned.

Civic Leaders Honored at the 18th Annual MMPA Oscar Week Luncheon & Awards

On Thursday, February 24, 2011 The Multicultural Motion Picture Association (MMPA) presented their 18th Annual Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show.
The event was held at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, CA from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and it was hosted by radio and tv personality Sam Phillips. The event featured a red carpet, entertainment by Izzy Chait and Band, lunch, awards presented to Civic Leaders, and a fashion show coordinated by Parris Harris.
MMPA President Jarvee Hutcherson and Mistress of Ceremony Sam Phillips presented and handed over The 18th Annual MMPA 2011 Civic Awards to Kate Linder ( Actress, Philanthropist), Edward Lozzi ( Publicist, Edward Lozzi & Associates), Renee’ Valente (Producer, Valente Productions), Michelle Phillips (Actress, Singer) and A.C. Lyles(Paramount Pictures). Each civic honoree gave a speech after receiving their award, but the one who received an outstanding ovation was A.C. Lyles, producer from Paramount Pictures.
Some of the celebrities and personalities that attended the event were Quinton Aaron (Actor), Eric Zuley ( Actor, Entrpenuer), Kim Lee (Actress, Model), Said Faraj (Actor), Kristen Ruhlin (Actress), Rob Margolies (Director), Suzanne Delaurentiis (Producer/ Actress), Kim Meyers (WGA), Tery Lopez (WGA), Gia Skova (Model), Yuri Naruse ( Model), Papa Joe (Actor, Host), Delane Vaughn ( Actor), Jeta Adams(Director), Abagail Schrader (Actress), Danielle Lester(Actress), Samantha Lester ( Actress), Paula Halla (Model), Sylvia Lester (Actress), Dick Michaels, Ken Garcia, Jeta Amata, Yvette Morales, Marina Pahomova, Devon Guzzie and many more.

Ted Williams, who became recently a celebrity for his voice, was supposed to receive an award but could not attend due to medical restrictions.

Human Rights Campaign Garden Party for Women LA 2010

On September Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. HRC held Garden Party for Women at the residence of Nancy Haag & Wendy Alexander to support Humans Rights Campaign.
This year event was held at Mt. Olympus, in Los Angeles, CA. HRC Special Guest Speaker was Progressive Radio Host Stephanie Miller.

Fe’s book, a music comedy premieres in Hollywood/Los Angeles, CA May 1st

Fe’s book”, a wacky musicomedy on social networking and the world “wild” web was presented by Creative Concepts and Amerikana Productions in association with HOPE 4 Children Foundation on 5-1-2010 at Celebrity Center in Hollywood, CA.
They held a red carpet and a silent auction at 6:30 pm and the show started at 7:30 pm and lasted until 9:30 pm.
The show starred Fe de los Reyes, special guest Eva Capara, and featuring The Hope4Children performing ambassadors Ryan Gallagher, Michael Walker, Nikki Gil, Shaun Gerardo and Parris Harris Models. There was a special dance appearance with Michael Walker by Exoti-Angels.
The event concept and direction was created by Fe de los Reyes. The music consultants were Bodjie Dasig, and Odette Quesada, and the technical direction was by Jet Montelibano. The event’s executive producer was Creative Concepts International.

“Fe’s Book” first opened in San Francisco on January 31 and in New York on February 27. Also opened in Manila on March 19, and finally on May 1, 2010 the grand premiere in Hollywood/Los Angeles, CA.
