Local Celebrity Los Angeles, A singing competition Round 3rd

localjudgesWhile the Grammys were almost done, Local Celebrity LA/Grammy After Party was starting at Eleven Night Club and Restaurant on 1-31-2010 where singers were ready to compete. First, the contestants were interviewed by Ryan Ray of Wake Up TV, and then by the judges. They all went to sit in their assigned areas and they were called in order to start performing live on stage.
There was something different on the stage, because it got a complete design and makeover. There were 3 small cams and one big professional camera recording the entire production. The stage was dressed up with a dark background so that the street could not be seen.

“Local Celebrity Los Angeles was a huge success at Club Eleven Sunday Eve. The Talent rivaled that of American Idol and the host Ryan Ray was masterful. The Judges Kris Searle, Fawn and Arnold G are supportive and right on the money with their critiques and appraisals of the talent.” said Tom Tangen, producer www.pooltimethemovie.com

Usually two contestants are sent home. but on Sunday night nobody was sent home. Each contestant was given a number from 1 to 10 so the audience at the venue and the online community could vote.

“Kudos to Club Eleven for this wonderful night showcasing local talent and bringing the Gay and Straight community together through music.” Mr. Tangen concluded.

The results will be released on February 7, where 4 contestants will go home. Jael Gadsden, Singer/songwriter featured in the movie “American Dreamz,” performed “All I Need” and
“Baby I’m Feelin You” live at Local Celebrity Los Angeles while the judges were adding their totals and the audience was voting via texting and paper ballots.

Local Celebrity Los Angeles was such an amazing experience, it was like being at a taping of American Idol but only better talent I think. I applaud whoever put together this event. I will try to make it to every one.” said Derick Bell, Celebrity Model.

Per the event organizers, there was a change regarding tonight’s results. They needed to get all the votes via testing, audience paper ballots, and judge’s numbers, and the eliminated contestants will be revealed on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the end of the show.

The event ran according to schedule and about 80 people supported the singers at the venue. This is important because the audience are the ones making the decision as to who will be the next Local Celebrity LA winner.

Liberty Counsel files complaint with the FCC for indecent acts of Adam Lambert against ABC

November 27, 2009 by

adamWashington, D.C. – On November 24, 2009 Liberty Counsel (www.LC.org) posted a press release on their site stating the has filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission against the American Broadcasting Company (“ABC”) for airing an outrageously lewd and filthy performance by Adam Lambert on November 22, 2009 during the 2009 American Music Awards. Among other things, Lambert simulated oral sex, simulated digital penetration, simulated sadomasochistic conduct and engaged in homosexual open-mouth kissing.

Prior to going on-air, Lambert explained that his motive went beyond performing. According to the Associated Press, Lambert “wanted to break down a double standard that existed where female performers are often sexually provocative while men don’t do it that often.”

ABC’s reaction was to promote Lambert’s indecent acts. While the network edited portions of another performer’s number for the West Coast’s viewing, only one small portion of Lambert’s performance was removed. ABC actually teased and touted the rest of his actions as “what everyone will be talking about tomorrow.” This shows that it was Lambert’s obscene sexual conduct, not his vocal performance that ABC used to promote its show.

Anita L. Staver, President of Liberty Counsel, remarked: “The performance by Adam Lambert clearly crossed the line. ABC should be held accountable for airing this indecent and offensive performance. ABC promoted Lambert’s performance to boost its ratings. Now ABC should have to pay a hefty penalty to the FCC for assaulting its viewers with a debased performance by Adam Lambert.”

Those wishing to contact ABC about this decision can write to ABC, Inc., 500 S. Buena Vista Street, Burbank, CA 91521. ABC can also be reached by calling (818) 460-7477, or you may contact ABC on the web at Audience Relations Department.

Editor Note: Adam Lambert music sounds great, may be he should have not done the performance on ABC TV network because he is not establish yet. Here is Adam’s music link: http://www.ilike.com/artist/Adam+Lambert/photo/578669814?set=322636
