Paparazzi Comedy “Sheriff’s Night” More then a Double Deal at Universal City Walk

On Thursday, January 20, 2011, the Paparazzi Comedy “Sheriff’s Night” was held from 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the world famous. Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Universal City, CA.
The event featured some of Hollywood’s funny comedians including The Big Boss of Comedy “Big Mike” (as the night Headliner), Kristi McHugh (Laugh Factory, Ice House, and Hollywood Improv), Allison Webber, Roxy, Jason Hadley and Special guest Janet Rousseau (actress & comedian, The Division, In the House, Strong Medicine, Sparks, Producer of “Wild N Out Wednesdays”, featured in the movie A Women’s Choice on www,Thirdreel,com by Mekhi Phifer).
As always, the event featured a red carpet where special celebrity guests including some of the comedians were interviewed and photographed. Some of the special personalities and celebrity guests attending were Patty McCall (author of Unmasking the Pain Within & Co-Founder of The Pain Foundation), Lisa Ann Vombrack (writer/actress and co-founder of The Pain Foundation), Nina Potts (celebrity hairstylist), Yvette Morales (publicist), Sonney Valens (actor), Vincent Ward (Comedian), Simply Cookie (Comedian), Malik Barnhardt (Comedian), and Jay Leno who was in front of the venue and was invited to check out the comedians and much more.
Paparazzi Comedy “Sheriff’s Night” is a fun show featuring different comedians and is also a free show, not to mention that One of the best deals in the tourist area is the Valet parking. For only $3 dollars you can park there and just get validation from the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. The regular parking price is $25.

Week 5 European pop singer and performer Paul Bradley performs at Local Celebrity Los Angeles

California Talent brought to you Local Celebrity LA week 5 and the week theme was Motown. As usual, interviews on the red carpet were done by Ryan Ray of Wake Up TV of all contestants, judges, the guest artist of the night and the producers of Pooltime The Movie.
The event was promoted for over two weeks to bring in a new special guest judge, Javelyn Jav. However, due to a family emergency, she was not able to attend. But the show must go on, and event organizers gave all their moral support to Ms. Jav.

The contestants who performed live were, Nate Gaines: Aint’ To Proud To Beg, by the Temptations, Jonathan Hernandez: Cruzin, by Smokey Robinson, Leah Turner: (who opened New Years Eve in New York and Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA for Adam Lambert) Higher Ground, by Stevie Wonder, GG Smith: Midnight Train to Georgia, by Gladys Knight and the Pipps, Christina Aldana: Natural Woman, by Aretha Franklin, Shane Facchinello: Who’s Loving You, by Michael Jackson, Rachel Escalera: Please Mr. Postman, by The Marvelettes, Rosy Donovan: Chain of Fools, by Aretha Franklin, Leandro Fossi: My Girl, by the Temptations and Brian Miller: (who auditioned in Hollywood for American Idol season 6) Dreams Girls; by The Supremes.
After all contestants finished their songs, headliner guest artist Paul Bradley took the stage and performed two songs “Still Believe,” and “Come to Me.” He made the crowd dance and sing. The venue had around 135 people. Also, cast members from Pool Time The Movie were present promoting their movie release. From February 7, 2010, the contestant with the lowest vote total, which determines the person eliminated from the competition at the end of the show, was GG Smith.
“I believe Local Celebrity LA is a great program, it allows artist to showcase their passion for music. It gives me an opportunity to get in front of a live audience and live the dream.” said Leandro Fossi, Local Celebrity LA contestant.

The event judges were Arnold G; International dance/pop recording artist, songwriter, dancer and performer, Fawn; Recording artist, songwriter and performer and Kris Searle; Singer, songwriter and international recording artist/performer.

“I knew it would be fun and I looked forward to the challenge of having to sing a different genre every week. Of course I hope to win the competition, but more importantly I just wanted to work on what I love the most music.” Mr. Fossi concluded.

Pepper MaShay performs live at the Pre Grammy Party & Birthday Extravaganza for David Harrison Levi

Over 800 people attended the Pre Grammy Party & Birthday Extravaganza for David Harrison Levi – STARMAKER. He celebrated his birthday with friends, celebrities, musicians, personalities and sponsors.
“The event was awesome and bigger turnout then we thought” said Cher Rue, actress.
They had a red carpet and step and repeat at the pre Grammy party, which played a tribute to the “King of Rock n’ Roll” Elvis Presley. Also the event was dedicated to artists lost last year, including the King of Pop Michael Jackson, friend of David Harrison Levi – STARMAKER. The venue was pack with actors, models, actress, singers and publicists. There were also lots of media taking videos and photos of every one. The highlight of the night was Pepper MaShay who performed 3 songs.

SAG Awards Post Celebration Charity event benefiting The Red Cross for Haiti

On a very chilly day, celebrities and personalities with their publicists lined up on the red carpet at the Falcon Restaurant & Lounge. The red carpet event was long and lasted for 2 hours. Media and photographers were busy shooting and interviewing major celebrities.
They all came for one reason: to support and bring awareness to help the Haiti Earthquake victims. After each one had the opportunity to get interviewed and photographed, they went inside the Falcon Restaurant and Lounge where it was full. About 400 people attended the event.
“This event was a really fun event. There were so many celebrities in attendance, and a lot of great contacts were made. We danced, took photos, and yes even walked the Carpet. Devon Guzzie and Eric Zuley AKA EZ really do know how to make an event successful. Hopefully the proceeds that were raised from this event will help the Red Cross do what they need to do for those in need.” said Tamara Wentworth, Owner of Wentworth Public Relations.
Per Gift Public Relations representatives, at first the event was titled Sag Awards Celebration Post Party in support of Britticares International. Due to the earthquake they changed it to Event To Benefit The Victims of The Haiti Earthquake. Later the event title was again changed to SAG Awards Post Celebration Charity event benefiting The Red Cross. Event organizers confirmed that they raised $100,000 for the Red Cross to benefit Haiti earthquake victims. Britticares founders were part of the event to support The Red Cross.
